Summary Police prepared alternative route plan to control traffic in addition to deploying 500 officers.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Traffic police finalized the strategy on Thursday after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) identified 12 venues for protest and sit-ins in Karachi.
The areas of identified for protest include Shara-e-Faisal, Teen Talwar monument Clifton, Hassan Square, Numaish Chowrangi, Maripur, Super Highway and National Highway among others.
Traffic police has prepared an alternative route plan to control traffic in addition to deploying 500 officers whereas security has been beefed up at routes leading to Shara-e-Faisal, Darg Road, Nazimabad and airport.
