KARK (Dunya News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) police on Wednesday beaten up the protesters who had come out on the roads to demonstrate a protest against gas outages.
The police arrested as many as 34 people including Khattak Ittehad’s president.
The police blamed the people of attacking the transmission line and tortured the protesters upon which Saddam Chowk gave a view of a battlefield.
The entry and exit points of the city were also blocked.
Frontier Corps (FC) officials were also called and the city remained closed on the fourth day also.
