Summary The move follows the killing of MQM district vice president Bau Muhammad Anwar.
LONDON (Web Desk) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday suspended members of Rabita (coordination) Committees in London and Karachi, Dunya News reported.
As per details, the action has been taken because the Coordination Committees did not give affective response against the killing of party’s vice president of Sialkot District.
Meanwhile, Qamar Mansoor has been appointed party’s interim incharge in Pakistan and Arshad Hussain has been named interim incharge of Rabita Committee in London.
MQM s provincial and national assembly members were also barred from going to Nine Zero.
Later today, while addressing a gathering through telephone, Altaf Hussain expressed disappointment over the performance of Rabita Committees.
He said that members of these committees have misused their powers.
"I am very disappointed. They have even sold streets and grounds. I don t need such members," he added.
