FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A case on Tuesday has been registered against as many as 34 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and at least 250 unidentified people for burning tyres on road, damaging state’s property and violent protests.
According to the details, Anti Terrorism Section 7 has been included in the charges.
Insaf Student Federation (ISF) president Farrukh Habib has been nominated as the leader criminal.
Punjab former law minister Rana Sanaullah has also submitted an application in the Samanabad Police Station to get a case registered regarding attack on his house.
He has requested to hold trials of as many as 500 people including, PTI chairman Imran Khan, vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed and Asad Umer.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif has been given an initial report of the Faisalabad incident.
The CM has formed an inquiry committee and ordered immediate arrest of the people who opened fire.
