LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Punjab government’s spokesperson Zaeem Hussain Qadri has rejected Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) White Paper terming it as ‘ridiculous’. He said that Punjab government has taken comprehensive steps to control crimes in the province, Dunya News reported.

In a statement from Lahore, Zaeem Qadri said that Turkish experts were helping train police officials and for improved investigation. He said that crime ration in Punjab is much below compared to other provinces. “Setting up model police stations will also help improve law and order”, he said. “Special force has been established for curbing terrorism”, he added.

Zaeem Qadri said that merit and transparent governance was Punjab government’s hallmark. Development projects of Punjab in the fields of education, health, agriculture, transport and others are exemplary. He said that it would have been better if PAT corrected the facts before publishing the White Paper.
