Summary More than 4,000 police officers have been deployed for the security of polio workers.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – One day anti polio drive on Sunday launched in Peshawar to inoculate 7,54,000 children below the age five, Dunya News reported.
According to the statement of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar Zaheer-ul-Islam, section-144 has been imposed to ban pillion riding till 5pm.
DC Peshawar has also ordered to take strict action against those who will violate the law.
More than 4,000 police officers have been deployed for the security of polio workers whereas 4,000 polio teams have been arranged to administered polio drops to children.
