Sirajul Haq urges PTI, govt to sit for talks

Summary The situation will only worsen if the issues are not resolved, says JI chief

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq on Saturday has urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government to let go off the rifts and sit together for negotiations.
He expressed these views while talking to different delegations in Mansoorah , Lahore.

He said that the delay in the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) was a big issue but after the appointment of Justice Sardar Raza Khan all the political parties have agreed with the decision.

Haq urged the government to cut those Election Commission’s (EC) officials loose who have been showed reservations upon by different political parties.

JI chief was confident that a Judicial Commission would also be soon established to investigate the allegations of PTI on the government.

Sirajul Haq also said that the government would have to resolve the issue as soon as possible otherwise it would worsen the situation for the government. He further said that people of the country would not tolerate delay anymore.
