ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said they are receiving mixed signal for the government in regard to the talks that are due to commence.

Talking to the media while leaving for hearing before election tribunal in Lahore he said the government must act serious if they are willing to initiate talks, he added.

Negotiations had come to halt on the demand of Nawaz Sharif’s resignation and we withdrew from the condition suggesting that the sit-in would continue as long as the investigation bears an outcome, he added.

He assured that the government would have to depart if the investigation is carried transparently.

Imran Khan said negotiations must begin where they were left off.

All the elections after 1970 were rigged, he added.

He said election tribunal’s apt decision will ensure genuine democracy adding that he is presenting himself before election tribunal for the future of the state.

If the traders intend to bring change and ensure law and order they must back shut the city down and continue with the routine if they are satisfied with the ongoing situation, he suggested.
