Summary As many as six million families would benefit off the agreement

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An agreement between Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Pakistan has been signed on Friday to repair Trimmu and Panjnad Barrages.

According to the details, ADB country director Dr Werner E Liepach and Secretary Economic Affairs Division Saleem Sethi signed the agreement in Islamabad.

Reportedly, the ADB would give Pakistan at least $ 15 crores to mend the Trimmu and Panjnad Barrages.

As many as six million families would benefit off the agreement.

The agreement would help reduce the danger of floods for the people and around 17 acres agrarian land would be provided with water.
