Summary PML-N leader was returning after inaugurating Gul-e-Dawoodi exhibition when incident took place

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif was faced with a difficult situation today (Thursday) when two students from Layyah suddenly started raising slogans of ‘Go Nawaz Go’ as Hamza returned from inaugural ceremony of Gul-e-Dawoodi exhibition at Jinnah Garden, Lahore.

Hamza Shahbaz went to Jinnah Garden to inaugurate the flower exhibition and was in great mood on the occasion. He inspected various stalls at the exhibition, talked to media and vowed to continue efforts for Pakistan’s progress. He also criticized Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on this occasion.

However, all the excitement was over when two students from Layyah, Muhammad Farhan and Arif Aziz Qureshi, suddenly started raising ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogans. Reacting to the slogans, PML-N workers present on the occasion also started raising ‘Go Imran Go’ slogans but League leaders silenced them.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif left the scene but police caught Arif Aziz Qureshi and shifted him to Civil Lines Police Station after beating him up. However, the other student succeeded in fleeing the scene.
