LAHORE: (Dunya News) – The cake of Dunya News’ 6th anniversary was cut by Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar at Dunya News’ Lahore head-office. On completion of the sixth successful year of Dunya News, various colorful ceremonies were held at the head-office of the organization in Lahore. Governor Sarwar was the Chief Guest of the event and he cut the cake along with Chairman Dunya News Mian Aamir Mehmood and MD Kashif Naveed.
Governor Punjab was given a warm welcome on his arrival at Dunya News head-office as petals were sprinkled on him. Governor Punjab congratulated Dunya News on the sixth anniversary. He said that he desired to see the country coming out of the political turmoil. He said that decisions are not made on roads in democracies. “I was the one who initiated the talks with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) least time and I hope that the issue will be resolved through talks”, he said.
Earlier, cake of Dunya News’ sixth anniversary was cut at Islamabad bureau office which was attended by Federal Minister for Broadcasting and Information Senator Pervaiz Rashid. Pervaiz Rashid said on this occasion that Dunya News was the first major channel to have started from Lahore. He said that mature analyses and news on Dunya News have always been admired by the common people of Pakistan.
Pervaiz Rashid said that Dunya News has a strong web presence as well. He prayed for Dunya News’ success in all times to come. He was given a warm welcome on his arrival at Islamabad office of Dunya News.
