Lahore/MULTAN (Dunya News) Petroleum products were out of the public reach because of high prices until Sunday and vanished from the sight after the announcement of decrease in prices. Many of the petrol pumps stayed close on Monday. District administration sealed 6 petrol stations and fined two. People faced trouble while trying to get petrol.

Petrol was not available in Lahore since early in the morning. Deputy Commissioner Officer (DCO) Lahore ordered to take strict action against the petrol stations, over-charging or selling petrol on old prices.

Citizens of Multan faced same problem. Right after the announcement of new petroleum prices, it became almost impossible to get petrol and diesel in the city. People commented that administration is not talking any action against petrol station owners; administration should make sure that petrol is available on all stations.
