LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) and Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) on Saturday announced not to participate in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally scheduled to take place on November 30, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, a consultation meeting among PAT, SIC and MWM took place at MWM office in Lahore in which the participants reviewed PTI’s call to join them for their protest rally on November 30.
The participants said, while addressing the media after the meeting, that PAT and allies have not been formally informed about purposes and aims of PAT’s rally on November 30. They said that no delegate from PTI met them to brief the same.
PAT’s Central Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Ganddapur said that all allies endorse PTI’s stance of ousting ‘fake’ government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
