Summary The court decided in PTI's favour and told police not to harass 'peaceful protesters'.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court on Thursday decided in favour of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over their petition against police for illegally detaining PTI workers, Dunya News reported.
The court stopped the police from making any illegal arrests and ordered the police not to harass any peaceful protesters.
According to the details, the petition was originally filed by PTI Punjab Lawyers Wing’s Senior Vice President Gohar Nawaz who submitted that the Punjab government is conspiring to fail PTI’s planned rally on November 30.
The petition said that PTI workers are being detained in various districts despite, the petition said, the peaceful planned event.
