MULTAN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Jahangir Tareen on Monday asked Minister Information Pervez Rasheed to apologize for spitting slander or else he would file a defamation suit against him.

Speaking at the news conference at Multan press club, Jahangir Tareen said government is totally baffled and is therefore employing unscrupulous tactics of politics of accusations, which is regretful.

He clarified that Rs 52.8 million was spent over the mechanical work of the plane that was utilized for the past one year by PTI chairman Imran Khan, Rs 48 million out which was spent from his own pocket and so it benefited the company.

He also stated that he holds majority shares of JWD Company and that his sugar mill is not a defaulter.

He accused Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership of flying planes employing public resources and insisted that they should also be held accounted for.

Nawaz Sharif is a phony Prime Minister; hence the electoral rigging should be probed. Obstructing people from reaching at sit-in venue is against the gist of democracy, he added.
