Summary Jet under Imran Khan's use owned by a company, not Jehangir Tarin's, says Information Minister
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan travels with ‘robbed money’. He said that the jet under Imran Khan’s use was not owned by PTI Secretary General Jehangir Tareen. He revealed that it was owned by a company.
Holding a press conference in Islamabad on Sunday, Senator Pervaiz Rashid showed footages of Imran Khan’s jet and claimed that Imran Khan was using someone else’s jet. He said that a company named JDW owned the jet that Imran was using. He said that the company wasn’t owned by Jehangir Tareen. Jehangir had 29.7 percent shares in the company only, he told.
Pervaiz Rashid said that no private company in Pakistan was allowed to give donations to any political parties. He said that a commercial jet was being used for political purposes. “It hasn’t been written anywhere in the company charter that the jet would be used for promoting anarchy”, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader said.
PML-N Senator said that there were no clues about the expenses of the jet under Imran’s use. “If Imran Khan has paid the rent of that jet, he must show the receipts”, Rashid said. Information Minister said that the person who even traveled on robbed money, how he can claim to end corruption from Pakistan. He said that he will reveal more robberies by Imran Khan within next three days.
