LAHORE (Dunya News) – A public gathering led by Jamaat Islami is being concluded today (Sunday) and Jamaat chief Sirajul Haq is due to deliver the concluding address, Dunya News reported.
The third and final day of Jamaat’s three-day gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore is in process and Jamaat chief is due to present the roadmap and strategy of the party to advance its agenda in the coming future.
Jamaat’s Secretary General Liaquat Baloch said while addressing the crowd that there should be a full audit of the general elections of 2002, 2008 and 2013 and that the system of the country is being controlled by landlords and feudal lords.
Leaders of Ikhwanil Muslimeen of Egypt and ‘Islamic movements’ from foreign countries including Sudan, Algeria, Jordan, Tunisia, Turkey, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bosnia and Kashmir addressed the international session of the gathering.
