Summary Only Islam is the future of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam always wanted an Islamic Pakistan, says JI chief
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami (JI) head Maulvi Sirajul Haq has said that Pakistan was made in the name of Islam and the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah always wanted to create an Islamic state. He said that all the workers of JI have gathered today (Friday) at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore, for creating an Islamic Pakistan.
Addressing the JI gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan, Maulvi Sirajul Haq said that some ‘British agents’ propagate that Jinnah wanted to create a secular state but Jinnah had written a letter to JI founder Maulana Maududi and told him that he was going to create a mosque and JI must prepare saviors for this mosque. Siraj said that Pakistan was made in the name of religion and it will always be the fort of Islam.
