Summary No qualms about the rally but there are reservations over the consequences, says A.K Dogar.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Full bench of Lahore High Court (LHC), on Friday, admitted the petition seeking to halt Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally due on November 30 in Islamabad for hearing.

During the case hearing petitioner’s counsel A.K Dogar said PTI chairman Imran Khan has repeatedly uttered in his addresses that government would be responsible of anything that happens on November 30. The court should therefore issue orders to halt this rally.

Justice Khalid Mehmood said court had issued orders to impede Azadi march but to no action by the government.

Court orders are being mocked at; what is the issue if both the stakeholders have a consent, he argued.

Dogar responded that they have no qualms about the rally but the unconstitutional consequences that are expected to follow.

The court thenceforth issued notices to Imran Khan, federal government and provincial government for November 24.
