Summary Tariq Sadozai has been approved by the PM as fresh chairman of NEPRA
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has approved the appointment of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) chairman after four years.
The PM has approved of Tariq Sadozai as new chairman of NEPRA.
After the retirement of NEPRA chairman Khalid Saeed in 2011, the government did not appoint a new chairman.
During this period, the post was held by different acting chairmen.
For the appointment of a fresh chairman of NEPRA, a summary was sent to the PM last month which has been approved now.
Earlier, Sadozai was appointed as chairman Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO).
