ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed on Tuesday said that the ‘power of people’ will crush the government if it tried to fail Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) planned rally on November 30, Dunya News reported.
He said the current government couldn’t end polio, asking how will it end load shedding.
“The petroleum minister doesn’t even know the prices of LGP gas”, he claimed.
Addressing a press conference at National Press Club in Islamabad, Sheikh Rasheed said that the people are now disappointed of the existing democratic system, adding that this system is benefiting one family only.
He said he will be pleased if even one lawmaker says that the general elections 2013 were transparent.
AML chief said the National Assembly will get a new life with a re-election, adding that if a re-election can take place in Japan then why not in Pakistan.
