NEW YORK (Dunya News) – During an exclusive interview with an American magazine, Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major-General Asim Bajwa stated that operation Zarb-e-Azb was ongoing in North Waziristan, and it was aimed at terrorists as a whole, irrespective of group affiliations.

During the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif’s visit to America, he would meet with United States Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, members of Congress and many other dignitaries, Bajwa said.
He reiterated that the praise for Pakistan Army’s sacrificial efforts by the United States of America (USA) is this visit’s greatest achievement till now. Additionally, he said that more than 1200 terrorists and extremists have been killed so far via military operations in North Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
