JHELUM (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday paid a visit to the wounded PTI supporters under treatment in the hospital, Dunya News reported.
After addressing the PTI rally in Jhelum, Khan paid a visit to the District Headquarter Hospital and met with the PTI supporters who were wounded earlier while going to the rally venue.
A large number of supporters accompanied PTI chief on this occasion.
The wounded workers explained the details of the incident while Imran Khan paid tributes to the supporters for their sacrifices.
He promised the wounded supporters a ‘new Pakistan’.
PTI chairman prayed for the speedy recovery of the workers and assured them not to spare the culprits behind the incident.
“Our workers were wounded ruthlessly”, he said. Khan went back to Islamabad to participate in ‘Azadi sit-in’ after meeting the supporters.
