GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – While talking to media on Sunday, deputy convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Khalid Maqbool requested Prime Minister and international donors to help Thar victims.
According to details, Rabita Committee of MQM has initiated their membership campaign in Gujranwala today (Sunday).
Deputy convener of MQM also stated that Thar famine is engulfing lives of people due to contaminated water and insufficient food rather than poverty.
MQM has tried to fight famine by putting medical and relief camps whereas a letter has also been sent to PM and international donors to come forward and help the affectees, he further added.
Earlier, Rabita Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) started their membership campaign in Lahore on Saturday.
Deputy Convener of Rabita Committee (MQM) Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui claimed that if MQM would be given an opportunity to work in Punjab, they can close the shops of political families whereas only common man can bring change and revolution in the country.
MQM leader Farooq Sattar stated that MQM wants to empower the nation of Pakistan.
