Summary Ayesha's brother Umer said that the warden on duty slapped his sister many a times
LAHORE ( Dunya News) – A husband beat up a traffic warden on Thursday who allegedly assaulted his wife after an argument in precincts of Garden Town police station while she was on her way back to home.
According to Ayesha, an Assistant Professor of Punjab University (PU), she was going back to her home from PU when a traffic warden in Garden Town area assaulted her after the argument intensified between the two.
She later brought her husband, Kamal, at the spot who beat up the warden for assaulting his wife. Ayesha’s brother Umer said that the warden on duty slapped his sister many a times.
Taffic Warden incharge Nargis said that her colleague has been wrongly accused in the incident. An application has been filed to register a case in this regard in the Garden Town Police station, Nargis added.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shabeer Ahmed said that applications have been received from both the parties and that legal proceedings would be done in this matter.
