ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Thursday demanded that the election rigging be probed by someone like Justice (retd) Aslam Zahid and said that he will quit the sit-in protest and go home if the rigging is not proved. Otherwise, he said, his party won’t leave the sit-in without Prime Minister’s resignation, Dunya News reported.

Addressing the sit-in protesters, Khan said that those who rose to power through rigging cannot hold transparent investigation. He said the investigation should be overseen by the Supreme Court and not by the government. He demanded that the alleged rigging be probed by ‘impartial people’ who are trusted by all stakeholders.

Khan said that those who are taking turns for the power have led the country to ‘destruction’.

PTI chief said regardless of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reputation, Modi is sincere with its people and that he is bringing the looted wealth back to the country.

He said Pakistani leaders should also learn from Modi.

Khan said that children are dying in Tharparkar, claiming that Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah doesn’t have a clue.

He claimed that Sindh has been looted in the name of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

PTI chief said that Sindh is not the ‘inherited property’ of former president Asif Ali Zardari and that he will hold a public gathering in Larkana on November 21.
