Summary Chief JI invited chairman PTI over a cup of tea in a bid to clear misunderstandings.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will meet Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq in the evening today (Wednesday) in Islamabad.

According to the sources Imran Khan accepted Sirajul Haq invitation to meet over tea. Both the leaders will clear the recent misunderstandings that spawned.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Pervez Khatak, senior leader PTI Naeemul Haq and JI’s Ameer Mian Aslam will also participate in the meeting.

Earlier, terming JI chief Sirajul Haq’s statement ‘disappointing’, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Thursday asked Haq to stop playing both sides and to clear his position in front of the public, Dunya News reported.

In a statement issued from Islamabad, Khan said that Jamaat chief’s statement is surprising and disappointing. He said Sirajul Haq’s effort to include PTI in the likes of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) is condemnable.

He asked Sirajul Haq to stop playing both sides and to clear his position in front of public and tell if he wants the ‘change’ in the country or the system of ‘status-quo’.

PTI chief said that Sirajul Haq has to stand up against the corrupt circle if he wants implementation of the law.

He said Sirajul Haq has forgotten ‘as usual’ the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari.
