KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain will hold an emergency press conference at 6 pm on Friday via telephone at MQM headquarters Nine Zero Karachi to talk about yet another significant and sensitive issue.

He would highlight the national and international state of affairs and their direct impact on Pakistan.

According to the sources, Altaf Hussain would talk about the ongoing political scenario and discuss MQM’s relationship with Pakistan People’s party (PPP).
In his press conference earlier on October 29 he said that had forgiven opposition leader Khursheed Shah for his derogatory remarks and had advised him to seek forgiveness from God.

Chief MQM said he doesn’t want to adopt the principle of opposition for the sake of opposition.

He said they want to resolve the issue of Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah who, MQM says, uttered offensive slurs for ‘Muhajir’ community.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi via telephone from London, Altaf Hussain said that the army doesn’t need anyone’s permission to impose martial law. MQM chief also demanded to hold census under supervision of the army.

He said no one demands creation of separate provinces for no reason and that if anyone objects to creation of new administrative units, then create ‘Sindh 1’ and ‘Sindh 2’.

Altaf Hussain urged the law enforcement institutions to take steps to stop ‘injustice’ against MQM.

He said MQM is large enough to provide protection to Sindhis.
