Summary Khan asked Jamaat chief to clear his position publicly.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Terming Jamaat Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq’s statement ‘disappointing’, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Thursday asked Haq to stop playing both sides and to clear his position in front of the public, Dunya News reported.
In a statement issued from Islamabad, Khan said that Jamaat chief’s statement is surprising and disappointing. He said Sirajul Haq’s effort to include PTI in the likes of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) is condemnable.
He asked Sirajul Haq to stop playing both sides and to clear his position in front of public and tell if he wants the ‘change’ in the country or the system of ‘status-quo’.
PTI chief said that Sirajul Haq has to stand up against the corrupt circle if he wants implementation of the law.
He said Sirajul Haq has forgotten ‘as usual’ the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari.
