Summary Chairman PTI is requested to end his sit-in now after Supreme Court’s decision, says Info Minister
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) should accept his defeat and come back to parliament, Dunya News reported. “It is requested that Imran Khan should end his sit-in after Supreme Court’s decision”, said Pervaiz Rashid.
Talking to media today (Thursday) outside Parliament House, Pervaiz Rashid said that Supreme Court is the biggest ‘umpire’ in Pakistan. “Imran Khan’s own wicket has fallen on a no-ball. Imran didn’t appear before the umpire”, said Pervaiz Rashid. He said that Chairman PTI pleads his case daily before ‘empty chairs’ but doesn’t do the same in the court. “He was unable to produce any evidence before the court”, said Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader. He advised Imran Khan to end his sit-in after Supreme Court’s decision and return to Parliament House, accepting his defeat.
