KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Bahria Town has presented Abdul Sattar Edhi with a cheque of Rs. 50 million in Karachi. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bahria Town Zain Malik presented the cheque to Edhi. He met Abdul Sattar Edhi at Edhi Center and presented the cheque to him.
Talking to media on this occasion, Zain Malik said that Edhi has devoted all his life for the service of mankind. He said that the robbery at Edhi Center came as a shock for him. He assured Edhi of Bahria Town’s help on this occasion. He said that Bahria Town stands with Edhi in this hour of crisis.
Respected social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi thanked Bahria Town for the help. He said that the amount collected by Edhi Center is spent on the poor people and it is the trust of the oppressed. He expressed hope that police will solve this case soon.
Earlier, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain also phoned Edhi to condemn the incident. He also demanded immediate arrest of the robbers and recovery of the looted amount.
