ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Supreme Court has directed to deliver the hiring notifications of the lady health workers at their homes. Justice Jawad S. Khawaja, heading the two-member bench, remarked that there should at least be something Islamic about Islamic Republic of Pakistan. “Everyone knows how lady health workers are treated in offices”, he said.
Hearing the Lady Health Workers Case, Justice Jawad Khawaja directed Attorney General and provincial chief secretaries to make sure that the orders are implemented in the federal capital and all the provinces. “Health workers don’t need to bribe anyone. If they find any demand as illegal, they must report it. There should at least be something Islamic about the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. How long the ill-treatment of public will be tolerated?” said Justice Khawaja. He directed the provincial secretaries and the chief commissioner to submit affidavit after completion of the distribution process. Supreme Court also directed to pay the dues of the lady health workers belonging to the federal areas by Monday.
