Summary Khawaja Asif accused India of attempting to divert from war against terrorism.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Assembly passed condemnation resolution against persistent Indian aggression presented by Foreign Advisor Sartaj Aziz on Thursday.

The gist of the resolution expresses house’s grave concerns over the violation of Line of Control (LoC).

It further states the unprovoked firing of Indian army is targeting innocent people.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said Pakistan army is capable of giving a befitting response to Indian offences.

He said we intend not to worsen the situation but India must not confuse our desire to peace and reconciliation with weakness.

Khawaja Asif said we are combating a historic battle on the western borders.

He further accused India of attempting to divert from war against terrorism.
