Summary Minister for Boundaries says India should act responsibly given both countries are nuclear powers
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – National Assembly has adopted a unanimous resolution against Indian aggression on Working Boundary. Minister for Frontier Regions Birjees Tahir says India should act responsibly given that both countries are nuclear powers. NA also adopted a unanimous resolution paying tribute to Nobel Peace Laureate Malala Yousafzai for achieving Nobel Prize.
Resolution to discuss the Indian aggression during the session was presented by Birjess Tahir. Opening the debate in the session, Birjees Tahir said that Pakistani response to Indian aggression will not be mild. He said that both the countries are nuclear powers and India must act responsibly.
Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch said on this occasion that Pakistani forces are meeting the Indian aggression with swift response but Pakistan will never target the civilians.
In its resolution paying tribute to Malala, the National Assembly maintained that Malala has raised her voice against extremism and terrorism. The resolution says that the government will fulfill its duty in order to provide education to the Pakistani children.
Earlier, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed annoyance over absence of ministers terming it ‘extremely non-serious behavior’.
