Summary Atiq was caught by the cyber crime cell of FIA from Johar Town, Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – 22 year old Atiqur Rehman who was accused of fraud and was serving penalty in Lahore Camp Jail, mysteriously died in Services Hospital on Wednesday.
Atiq was caught by the cyber crime cell of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from the area of Johar Town, Lahore. He was transferred to Camp Jail after a 3-day physical remand, where he stayed for 12 days.
He was shifted to Services Hospital after his condition got critical on Tuesday evening where he died after a few hours battle for life.
Relatives allege mistreatment on part of the jail administration whereas Atiq’s father is downcast on the loss of his young son.
Atiq’s body has now been shifted to the morgue at Mayo Hospital. The actual reason of his death, however, would be confirmed after autopsy.
