Summary Government has decided to give 2 more weeks to PTI for resignations' verification
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Government has decided to give 2 more weeks to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for verification of their resignations. Three more members of PTI were unable to present themselves before Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to verify their resignations. Speaker had invited Shafqat Mehmood, Amjad Ali Khan and Rai Hassan Nawaz. First phase of resignations’ verification will be completed on Wednesday.

According to Dunya News, 4 PTI members including Inayat Ullah Khattak, Sajida Begum, Ayesha Gulalei and LAl chund Mehli have been called on the final day but there doesn’t seem to be a chance of them coming too. In light of these developments, government has decided to extend the time to 2 more weeks. After the end of extended time frame, Speaker will discuss the matter with constitutional and legal experts to reach some decision.
