Pakistan acting patiently over Indian firing: Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Advisor to Prime Minister on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz on Tuesday said that Pakistan is acting with patience over civilian casualties as a result of India’s unprovoked firing in Charwa Sector of Sialkot along the Line of Control (LoC), Dunya News reported.

In a statement, Aziz said that Pakistan advanced the hand of friendship towards India but India did not reciprocate with the same fervor.

He said four civilians were martyred on the day of Eid as result of firing from the Indian forces.

Sartaj Aziz said that India has harmed the peace process between India and Pakistan by suspending the foreign secretary level dialogue with Pakistan.

He hoped India will give peace another chance.
