Summary Can’t say if things going towards mid-term, long-term, short-term or somewhere else, says Shujaat
GUJRAT: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Quiad (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that the sit-in will end in Islamabad when there will be sit-ins in every street of Pakistan. President PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that he doesn’t know if situation was going towards long-term, mide-term, short-term or somewhere else, however, sacrifice has started.
Talking to media after distributing the Eid-meat among flood victims today (Monday) in Gujrat, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that one thing is for sure that people are fed up of government and its policies. He said that soon it will be clear where the things are going and the ‘sacrifice’ is not far off.
Former Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi said on this occasion that law and order situation is extremely critical in the country. He said that fruits of democracy did not trickle down to the common people. Pervaiz Elahi said that Pakistan is indebted of Rs. 1000 trillion.
Chaudhry brothers said that government has been harsh on people by increasing the electricity bills on the order of International Monetary Fund (IMF). “Government is unable to rule and the proof is that cheques given to flood victims of 2010 floods have not yet been cashed”, said Chaudhry brothers.
