Summary Railways Minister says 'Ro Imran Ro', not 'Go Nawaz Go' slogans being raised
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that ‘New Pakistan’ comprises of abuses and baseless allegations only. He said that it was Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan who first demanded Returning Officers (ROs) from judiciary during the elections. He said that there was mismanagement in the elections, not rigging. Saad Rafique said that Imran will contest local bodies’ elections under the same election commission. On a question regarding ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogan by PTI supporters, Saad Rafique said that ‘Ro Imran Ro’ (Cry Imran Cry) slogan is also being raised nowadays.
Talking to a press conference today (Saturday) at Railway Headquarter in Lahore, Saad Rafique said that PTI candidate from his constituency Hamid Khan got 50 ROs changed only 48 hours prior to the election. Saad Rafique said that he was not informed about these changes.
Railways Minister said that Imran Khan has become a victim of ‘Nawaz phobia’ after losing the elections. On a question regarding Imran Khan’s allegations on him, Saad Rafique said that he was not considering sending any legal notice to Imran Khan. He said that public will decide about Imran Khan’s allegations. “But I am kind of a person who does not let go”, he said.
Saad Rafique said that Imran Khan has become got used to humiliation. “What Imran Khan is trying to attempt may also go out of control and we cannot allow that”, said Saad Rafique. He said that Imran Khan is trying to take the country towards civil war. He said that Imran Khan is politically immature. “If we start answering him in his style, it will only make things worse”, said Saad.
