Summary Speaker had asked all MPAs to appear individually, PTI says all will appear together
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Punjab MPAs have refused to appear at Punjab Assembly Speaker’s office individually. Speaker Punjab Assembly had directed all the MPAs to appear in groups of four. Refusing to appear individually, PTI has written a letter to Speaker Punjab Assembly and has maintained that all its MPAs will appear together.
According to Dunya News, PTI has prohibited its MPAs to appear individually before the Speaker. In its letter, PTI has claimed that calling the MPAs in groups of 4 is a conspiracy against PTI. It says that 29 members of PTI had presented their resignations together and they will appear together to affirm them too.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal called 4 PTI MPAs on 11 am on September 29 and kept waiting till 2 pm but none of the 4 appeared. Speaker has said that rules will be followed in resignations’ issue. 4 more members of PTI have been called by Speaker on September 30.
