ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed said on Sunday that the general elections 2018 will not take place before 2018, adding that there’s no ‘third umpire’ other than the constitutions, Dunya News reported.
Pervaiz Rasheed said that the ‘third umpire’ does not exist, claiming that Imran Khan is misleading his workers and supporters.
He said Imran Khan should know that people do not want to participate in his sit-in protests.
Meanwhile, the Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif said while talking exclusively to Dunya News, that Pakistan faces problems like electricity shortage, price hike and unemployment. He said it’s been sixteen months since they’ve been in the government, adding that people expect ‘good governance’ and the government should perform.
He said problems should be reduced over the next couple of year.
Khawaja Asif said that the government will have to pay the price if it doesn’t deliver.
He said it will be a huge success for the government if they resolved the issues.
Federal Minister said that Pakistan has faced the loss of billions of rupees, adding that the political issues should be resolved through negotiations.
