Summary Moon-sighting committee announces that Zil-Hajj moon was not sighted on September 25
LAHORE: (Dunya News, Web Desk) – Central Moon-sighting Committee, headed by Mufti Muneebur Rehman, has announced that Zil-Hajj moon has not been sighted in any part of Pakistan on September 25, 2014.
Announcing it in a press conference today (Thursday), Mufti Muneeb told that the moon has not been sighted and therefore, Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Pakistan on Monday, October 6. He told that no testimonies of moon-sighting were received by the moon-sighting committee from any part of Pakistan. He told that committee members from all districts were set up and none of them received any testimony regarding sighting of the moon.
