LONDON (Dunya News) – Foreign Office said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has left for New York from London accompanied by a small delegation to address the United nations General Assembly’s 59th session on Friday.

Nawaz Sharif will highlight the Kashmir issue and Pakistan’s relations with India and Afghanistan.

Nawaz Sharif in his speech is expected to focus on cooperation-based relationship with the neighboring countries.

The Prime Minister will also highlight the Kashmir issue at the UN general assembly and relations with India and Afghanistan.

During his stay in New York, the prime minister will also co-chair UN peacekeeping summit along with US Vice President Joe Biden, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other world leaders.

On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with several world leaders.

He will participate in an energy conference also to be attended by the premiers of Norway and Denmark. The conference will explore ways to acquire energy through non-conventional sources.
