Summary Ban on pillion riding was imposed in Karachi on September 11.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government has on Monday decided to lift the ban on pillion riding in Karachi, keeping in view the problems faced by the public at large. At least 461 people were booked for violation of ban in the city.
The Sindh Home Ministry has issued a notification to lift the ban. The ban was imposed on September 11 for ten days over security concerns but it was lifted just after five days.
