Summary Army has rescued at least 37,000 affected people so far: ISPR

MULTAN (Dunya News) – A vice Subedar identified as Anab was martyred as Pakistan Army’s flood rescue and relief operations continued on Sunday. As many as thirty seven thousand people have been rescued in the army’s relief operation so far, Dunya News reported.

As per Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), army recued and escorted to the safe place at least thirty seven thousand affectees.
The military helicopters have recorded the log of at least 206 flight hours in the relief operation.

Medical care is being provided in the medical camps whereas 80 ton food is also being provided.

ISPR said that a vice Subedar has been martyred during the rescue operation. The funeral prayer was offered at the Army ground in Multan.

Corps Commander Multan Lieutenant General Abid Pervez among other army officers participated in the funeral.
