Summary MQM chief Altaf Hussain has announced to step down from his party post.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday announced to quit his party leadership and asked party’s Rabita Committee to choose anyone to lead the party.
Altaf Hussain said that the Rabita Committee didn’t mend its ways despite his frequent appeals. Altaf said that he had sacrificed all of his relatives and friends for the party.
Announcing to relinquish his charge as party chief, Altaf Hussain asked members of the Rabita Committee to run the affairs of the party with responsibility.
