KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday demanded immediate release of the arrested workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), while appealing both parties and the government to resume talks, Dunya News reported.
In a statement, Altaf Hussain said that he cannot proceed without praising the government for its patience, urging the government to continue to exhibit patience by freeing the arresting workers.
Altaf Hussain reiterated his appeal to both PTI and PAT to resume dialogue and to postpone the sit-in protests in the spirit of helping the flood affectees.
