Summary Shahbaz Sharif continued his visit to flood-hit areas on seventh day.

CHINIOT (Web Desk) - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif during his visit to flood-affected areas of Tehsil Laliyan and Phalia announced Rs 100 million aid for each area, Dunya News reported.

The Chief Minister visited Daro, Pathan Kot, Thatha Mian Lala, Thatha Umar and other adjoining areas to review relief activities.

On the occasion, CM Shahbaz said evacuation of people is first priority. 90% people have already been evacuated. Three helicopters have also been engaged to supply commodities and other relief goods to the victims.

The Chief Minister visit relief camps and reviewed the facilities being provided to the flood victims. He said that only local treatment of the sick people is not enough, MPA of the area should take them to the hospital.

He said flood affectees will be given compensation at the earliest. Every single person of the society must step forward to help them.
