Summary The entire nation stands alongside Pakistan's Army, he said.
KARACHI (Web Desk) -- Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing the nation on television said that the entire nation should be united in such difficult times, as military operation Zarb-e-Azb continues in North Waziristan, and this is Pakistan’s war for survival.
In his video message for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Bilawal said that the entire nation stands alongside the Pakistan Army’s troops deployed to counter terrorism in North Waziristan. At the same time, he added, the nation cannot forget the IDPs who have lost their homes for the sake of the country, and the nation should help the IDPs whereas the sacrifices of army troops would be remembered for all times to come.
He further said that the army needs the same vigour and support from the nation, as it supported the Swat operation in 2009. He added that the strong-hearted IDPs did not lose hope despite suicide bombing attacks and the US drone attacks.
On a concluding note, Bilawal said that there is hatred everywhere nowadays but the nation needs to stand together in such times, as the nation has sacrificed so much for democracy and attaining this country.
