Summary Former President directs PPP to set up relief camps for flood-affected people

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Former President Asif Ali Zardari has decided to get politically active in Punjab. Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) phoned President PPP Punjab Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo and directed him to set up relief camps for the flood affected people.

Expressing grief over the devastations by flood in Punjab, Asif Ali Zardari asked the directed the members of the party, MNAs, MPAs and ticket-holders to help the affected people.

While meeting the PPP leaders, Asif Zardari decided to visit Lahore in order to activate the party. He will arrive in Lahore during the second or third week of September. He asked the PPP office-bearers in Punjab to form a possible schedule of his activities in Punjab.
